The Minnesota Timberwolves currently have the best record in the Western Conference. The last time they dominated the league like this was during the 2003-04 season (during the Kevin Garnett era). After two decades of being seen as an easy win for opponents, they have reshaped themselves into a team that strikes fear. Many expected this team to be good after acquiring All-Star-level talent through trades and the draft.. but not THIS good. How are they achieving this historic run this season? The answer is easy: they simply have that DAWG in them.

Minnesota is home to both the largest wolf population in the United States and the International Wolf Research Center. With the identity of this team being centered around wolves, it is clear that they are playing as a team this season, with established Alpha Anthony Edwards leading the pack. The toughness and passion that Edwards plays with galvanizes his teammates and stuns his opponents.
